Anna Scott, professional ceramicist living & working in the South West of France

In the 1960's Anna was a decorator for the Chelsea pottery in London, and then lived for ten years in the States where she regularly exhibited her ceramics. From 1971, she participated in archeological digs, which led to interest in ancient pots and coins, she has even built a Roman kiln in her garden. Anna has created many works inspired by ancient coins and has exhibited in Nîmes, Béziers and Carcassonne.

Dans les années 1960, Anna Scott était décoratrice au Chelsea Pottery à Londres. En suite elle vécut 10 ans aux Etats-Unis, où elle exposa régulierement ses céramiques. Depuis elle s'installe dans le sud de la France Elle s'est découvert une passion pour la poterie ancienne - ce qui l'amène à des fouilles archéologiques. Elle a même construit un four Romain dans son jardin. Fascinée par les monnaies gauloises, elle a fabriqué des plaques en terre cuite, émaillées que les amateurs ont pu découvrir dans les expositions organisées à Béziers, Nîmes et Carcassonne.
